INSIDE SALES SPECIALIST
JOB DESCRIPTION
This sales professional will be primarily responsible for supplying outside sales support to the Boss Regional Sales Management team and additional responsibilities dealing with our Boss distributor network direct. This person will act as part of the inside sales specialist team, supporting the sales team in the field and handling all in-house operations from quote to finished product. Strong phone and computer skills are required in this position, along with extensive knowledge of the MAS ERP system. Technical and mechanical aptitude for understanding the basic knowledge of truck mounted compressor and generator products is needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works directly with the Senior Inside Sales Specialist position.
- Monitors and promptly maintains the sales@bossair.com account.
- Daily verbal and written communication with RSM’s, distributors and end users.
- Provide requested quotations for the entire Boss product line.
- Provide sales support for the divisional sales team members.
- Precise and timely order entry.
- Quote filing and follow-up.
- Product knowledge to answer customer questions and provide proper product quotation.
- Customer updating on confirmations and possible delays.
- Conduct layout meetings on customer vehicles.
- Answer customer/end user calls in Sales Queue 1 & 2.
- Attend production meetings and inside sales meetings.
- Assist in scheduling production.
- Assist in specification writing and literature design.
- Forecast assistance and updating.
- Building and maintaining customer relationships
Qualifications / Competencies / Position Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: -
- Self-Motivated, coachable, and eager to learn.
- Proficient in Microsoft office & PDF. Minimum 40 WPM.
- Technical & Mechanical aptitude.
- Oral, written, and telephone skills with strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the entire Boss product line required.
Education and Experience:
- Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Advanced education preferred.
- Air Compressor, Small Engine or mechanical experience preferred.
- Multi-line phone console experience preferred.
- ERP system (MAS200, Sage, etc.) experience preferred.
- Cloud and Network experience preferred.

ASSEMBLY MECHANIC I
Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations, installs components on vehicle chassis, or assembles kits. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications, bills of material, mechanical and electrical diagrams. Identifies units that fail test or tolerance levels and repairs, as necessary. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. May require exercising independent judgment. Self-Motivated, trainable, and eager to learn. Applicant must be able to analyze and evaluate current processes and look for areas of improvement. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the above.
Requirements

- Must have basic mechanic’s hand tools.

Customer Service Representative
- Handles customer phone and email requests in a thorough, timely, and professional manner.
- Creates and maintains customer service records to document suspected issues, along with root cause, and the fix implemented.
- Process orders in BOSS ERP system for any parts required for Service calls.
- The position is be empowered to work along with Service Manager and associated Regional Sales Managers to make decisions striving for customer satisfaction while being cognizant of the best interest of BOSS Industries.
- Occasionally localized travel is required.
- Assist in the evaluation and repair of customer returned products.
